Cleaning System Overview

The HUBB filter must be cleaned as stated in your agreement with HUBB. The cleaning is based on the actionable data from your own fleet. When you follow our agreed cleaning cycles you will have the additional comfort of our 100,000 mile or 5,000 hour performance guarantee.

The HUBB Cleaning station and Cleaning Concentrate have been specifically designed to work together to dislodge the contaminants that collect in the filter's stainless steel media. Most parts washers or other alternatives do not properly clean the filter and may void the warranty.

The patented HUBB filter lasts a lifetime because the 2 inner filters are easy to clean and are reusable. The contaminants captured by the HUBB filter can be removed from the inner filters by using the HUBB Filter Cleaning Machine in combination with specially formulated Cleaning Concentrate.

The HUBB Cleaning Concentrate is MSDS compliant and does not require any special handling.

Cleaning the Filter

The HUBB Filter can be cleaned by sending the inner core back to HUBB or to an authorized HUBB dealer for cleaning. A HUBB Cleaning Station and cleaning concentrate may be purchased to clean the filters in accordance with the required cleaning procedure. With either method, the filters must be cleaned as stated in your agreement with HUBB. HUBB Filters, Inc. warrants every HUBB filter to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 100,000 miles or 5,000 hours, whichever comes first. The use and cleaning process required by HUBB Filters must be followed.

Easy to Follow Steps

OneRemove the 2 inner filters, disassemble and place in rack

TwoPlace the rack with the inner filters into the HUBB Cleaning Machine

ThreeFill the HUBB Cleaning Machine with specially formulated Cleaning Concentrate plus water until the filters are covered or you have reached the fill line of the tank. (Ratio of concentrate is designated by the filter you are cleaning and the size of the cleaning station being used)

FourRun the 10-minute cleaning cycle

FIveRemove the filters from the HUBB Cleaning Machine and let dry

SixReassemble the inner filters, screw them back onto the base plate and then screw on the filter cover

SevenRecycle the used cleaning concentrate and water in accordance with EPA guidelines
